      InfoBunker is an ultra-secure data center & colocation facility that is based in a former Government Command Bunker that was purpose-built by the military to house sensitive electronic communications equipment. Founded in 2004, the company has had active clients since 2006 after a multi-million dollar rebuild of the 65,000 square foot facility.

      Offering the unique combination of 100% guaranteed uptime in a cost-effective environment made possible by acquiring a Cold-War era site. By design, the facility is located less than an hour outside of the Des Moines metro well above any flood plane yet is over 50 feet underground.

      InfoBunker has been built to withstand any natural or man-made disaster and its internal redundancies allow it to operate completely independent of the outside world for days on end. All critical infrastructure is located underground - allowing for unprecedented security with access protected by multiple layers of biometric and physical security.

      Power is supplied by grid and independent gen sets with over 6 days of fuel secured on site. It is available at 150W per square foot with abundant cooling to meet this need. Raised floor is installed in all data sections of the building and cooling is provided by both overhead ducts as well as below floor venting from the facilities Nx2 chiller system.

      We offer direct access to Cogent, Qwest, Paetech and ICN. We also have access to 360 networks, AT&T, Norlight Communications, Verizon, FiberLink, Mediacom, and INS. Our connectivity comes via a total of 192 strands of fiber that enter the facility from 4 compass points as well as an independent, separate fiber route that is fully owned and managed by InfoBunker. Our private fiber provides a back haul to the Des Monies telecom hotel for private client traffic. Using DWDM systems, private gigabit point to point or OC level connectivity is available to all clients and carriers.

      InfoBunker utilizes Telecom-grade hardware from Nortel (Avaya) and Juniper and offers connectivity within the facility in the form of Gigabit copper and fiber below the floor to the rack. Private suites are connected by fiber or copper secured in reinforced conduit.

      Available services include colocation offerings by the 'U', by the rack or private client suites from 160 square feet & up.
